🥘 Ingredients
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
- 1/4 cup Ghee (melted)
- Oil for frying
- Sugar Syrup (1 string consistency)

Knead a firm dough with flour, ghee, and water.

Roll out thin sheets (rotis).

Stack 3-4 sheets with a smear of ghee and flour paste between them.

Roll the stack into a log and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Flatten each piece slightly.

Deep fry on low heat until layers open up and turn golden.

Dip in warm sugar syrup.
💡 Cultural Significance
Khaja is a mandatory item in the "Sandesh" (gifts) sent to the daughter's in-laws.
