तोहरे भरोसा बरहम बाबा झिझिया बनल हो। माथे प घैला, घैला प दिया नाचै छै झिझिया, गावय छै गिया अन-धन सोन-चाँदी, देहूँ बाबा। डायन-जोगिन, नजर न लावे गाम के रक्षा करीहें बाबा झिलमिल-झिलमिल दिया जरय सातों बहिनिया संग आय।
Meaning & Context
Sung during the Jhijhiya dance in Dussehra. Women dance with earthen pots ('Ghaila') with holes and lamps inside on their heads, praying to 'Barham Baba' for protection and prosperity, and warding off evil spirits.
