या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्ति-रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥ मिथिला के कण-कण में वास अहाँ के दशों दिशा में प्रकाश अहाँ के हे माँ शेरावाली, हे माँ जोतावाली। दुख-दारिद्र हरू, सुख-संपत्ति दिअ बाल-बच्चा के, रक्षा करू हे। चरण में राखूँ, आशीष दिअ हे जगदम्बे, हे महाकाली।
Meaning & Context
A hymn praising Goddess Durga, acknowledging her presence in every particle of Mithila and asking for her blessings. It asks for the removal of sorrow and poverty, and protection for children.
