Sharda Sinha

Sharda Sinha (b. 1952) is the undisputed 'Bihar Kokila' and the voice of Mithila's cultural soul. A Padma Bhushan awardee, her contribution to preserving and popularizing folk songs, especially the sacred Chhath Puja geet, is unparalleled.
