🥘 Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 cup Sour Curd (Dahi)
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- Pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
- Mustard Oil
- Dry Red Chilies and Curry Leaves for tempering
👩🍳 Instructions

Mix besan, water, and spices to make a thick batter for Bari.

Deep fry small dumplings (Baris) in mustard oil until fluffy.

Mix curd, remaining besan, turmeric, and water to make a thin liquid.

Cook this liquid on low heat until it boils and thickens (Kadhi).

Add the fried Baris and simmer.

Temper with hing, red chilies, and curry leaves.
💡 Cultural Significance
Kadhi-Bari is the celebratory Sunday lunch and a must-have for guests. The softness of the Bari is a test of the cook's skill (`Phulouri`).
