🥘 Ingredients

  • 1 cup Toor Dal (Arhar)
  • 1 cup Wheat flour dough
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 2 Dry Red Chilies
  • Ghee for tempering
  • Salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Pressure cook the dal with turmeric and salt until half done.

Roll out the wheat dough and cut into small flower shapes (Pithi).

Add the Pithis to the boiling dal.

Simmer until the dumplings are cooked through.

Temper with ghee, cumin, and red chilies.
