🥘 Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice (soaked overnight and air-dried)
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery/Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
  • Ghee for deep frying

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Grind the semi-moist rice into a coarse powder.

Mix with sugar/jaggery. The mixture effectively becomes a dough due to the rice moisture.

Leave the dough for a few hours/days to ferment slightly (optional).

Make small flat discs, coat one side with sesame seeds.

Deep fry with the sesame side up until golden.
